About:
OuterSpatial tasked us to develop a campaign to promote their collaboration with California State Parks. OuterSpatial is the official app of California State Parks, providing information and inspiration on everything the parks have to offer. From new trails to information on the best spots for your four legged friends.
Challenge:
OuterSpatial bring together all the relevant information on outdoor experiences through creating an all-in-one outdoor information toolkit at the touch of our fingertips. We were tasked to create a campaign to promote their recent partnership with California State Parks that appeals to everyone and encourages everyone to get out there and explore, no matter their age, gender or level of experience in the outdoors.
Process:
Following existing brand values, we created a new strategy and visual identity that was reflected through the whole campaign. The design team twisted the existing brand elements, like colour palette and fonts, to create dynamic and playful visuals.
Solution:
As a result, we created a campaign that invites everyone, no matter age, gender, or experience, to do what we love the most, explore new adventures outdoors. We produced both online and offline assets including app store visuals, QR code stickers and postcards as well as posters to be displayed across the parks. Finally, we developed a design system that is flexible enough to adapt to any future collaborations that OuterSpatial has with new partners.
